Seriously, what is with people ****ting on Dawson? I don't see this "Overrated" fighter. Because he can't stop a tough guy that's never been stopped he's overrated.

I mean, christ, he very decisively beat this guy twice now. What else do you want from him? He decisively beat Adamek. He not so decisively beat Johnson, but it was a close fight that you could easily have him winning.

The only problem I really see in Dawson is that he doesn't distribute his workload evenly. He opens up with those vicious combinations, and plays D for other rounds.

But that's something he can learn. Dawson has UNLIMITED potential. He's still a little raw and I agree that Hopkins and Joe beat him, but he would give both of them trouble.

And he would clean out 168 if cutting the weight doesn't affect him.

I knew somebody would make this thread. Because Tarver did a little better this time, and Chad didn't dominate as much as he did in first fight. How many fighters you know would be up for this fight? How motivated would they be? I actually think because he didn't look more spectacular there's a better chance Hopkins takes the fight now because it looks more winnable.

Right, he wasnt an average fighter when he dominated Tarver the first time. He wasnt an average fighter when he dominated the current CW Champion, Adamek.

Fact is, Dawson is the best LH in the world. If he moves to 168, he's the best Super Middle in the world.

Everyone knows Tarver does better in rematches and I knew Dawson wouldn't get any credit if the fight was tougher. He still dominated and people make threads like this.

So which Calzaghe would toy with him? The one that fought like an amatuer against Hopkins? Or the one that fought the fighter Tarver DESTROYED in RJJ?

What about Hopkins? The one that fought Calzaghe? The one that fought Pavlik who is more one dimensional than a piece of paper? Im not discreditin the Pavlik fight, but Dawson is lightyears ahead Pavlik in versatility and talent level.

Dawson is the truth, but no one wants to find it.

Dawson would beat the **** out of Froch, you have to appropriate boxing skills, to appropriate Dawson, you clearly don't. Dawson would beat Bute, but the Kessler would 50/50 actually 60/40 in Dawson favor's since he showed more intangibles.

Taylor have as much skills as down, The only thing Dawson is a bit better is speed.

Dawson, have a shaky chin and gets tire down the stretch, and he doest have the power to back Froch up.

Dawson starts winning the fight gets tire and then gets KTFO by Froch in 10 rounds!!!!!!!

He's a future hall of famer. He's one of those fighters that have potential to be great.

Calzaghe and Hopkins would lose to Dawson. And you know Hopkins wouldn't be able to school him, he's no Pavlik. I think Dawson really couldn't do anything different from the last against Tarver, it was still an impressive win. If you're going to judge Dawson from this fight, you're clearly underestimating him.

I contemplated not reading after "Calzaghe and Hopkins would lose to Dawson." but I didn't.
