On friday night fights Teddy Atlas said that the only reason Floyd is taking on Marquez instead of an easier opponent is because he owes the IRS back taxes and they are about to reposses his house so he need money quick. This is Teddy Atlas talking so it's hard to believe what he says, but this is not the first time I have heard about Mayweather having lost a lot of his money. Do you think he really is going broke?

He did, but he did it in a round about way and he really did not seem to want to out and out say Floyd would win, I think he was looking for reasons to think that this fight will be competitive.
I liked B-Hop responce to Teddy's line of thought, thinking that it would actually be added motivation for him to do well so he can get that MEGAFIGHT and get paid.Comment

It's not that far fetched. The way Floyd spends his money, and the way he's known to drop cash at the sportsbooks almost daily. You start chasing & that ish adds up real quick.Comment

I saw a programme once when Floyd openly admitted he betted 30k every american football game and baseball game. He retired shortly after.
That's when I realised he won't be retired for long.

Teddy was looking for reasons to pick JMM for sure though, his whole explantion of the fight was basically why JMM had a chance, but then says he thinks FLoyd should win, but then he went off on the bankrupcy thing dsaying if Floyd is not all there his pick could be wrong.Comment
