Maybe it was wrong for Hatton to hire Mayweather as a trainer. He should stayed with Graham but would he beat Manny? Never! He would have lasted 2-3 rounds longer and be a bit more comoetitive, but thats it.

Hatton has never fought any upper echlon fighters like, Marquez, Shane...etc. When he did fight, it was mostly in his country. They did not know the difference between Boxing and Fighting. Elbowing, headbutting, boxing with the needs, hitting on hips, and behind the head. No Boxing skills...He was a rush in hugger or wrestler. He should retire because he cannot withstand the superior levels of skills. He should stay with his class of Pazzianos, Gattis, ... He is an ADHD fighter. He cannot be still and cannot think to adjust in the ring.

Hey Graham you should told that before the fight happened. Another excuse to downplay Pacs win, im sic and tired of excuses whenever PAC wins fight.

Pacquiao and Freddie Roach deserve all credit for that fight. Stop making excuses.

          Woooaaaaahhhh....

I can only speak for myself but I don't think anyone's making excuses as to why Hatton lost they are excuses as to why he didn't turn up as a fighting entity...

I fully expected Pac to win in a 9-12 round war so what I want to know is why it ended in one-sided BEATING. Graham speculates on the answers to those questions - and that is not lessening Manny's status or achievement.

You can only beat what's in front of you and I'm not taking anything away from Manny but what I - and presumably others - want to know is why Hatton looked a shadow of himself.

Someone will now come back and say that it was Manny who made him look a shadow of himself, or that Hatton is a **** fighter yada-yada and perhaps some of that is true but I'm not so sure... something just looked wrong with him. He looked shot from the first bell.

Prime Manny beats prime Hatton - there's no question about that - but I bet it wouldn't have ended as disappointingly (for Hatton and the neutral fans) or ignominiously (for Hatton) as it did last week.

Bring on JMM v Floyd and then Manny vs the winner

And for Ricky... get out while you can do so with your health.

Why is this such a big deal. Hatton retire? No, just stop fighting the best. Go back to fighting bums in your home town. Please the fans and make some cash without being KTFO again.

Actually lets see Hatton and Judah fight.......... Hatton does NOT need to retire. He is good NOT great. When he fights a GREAT he will fail. This is easy to understand.
Yes i agree. He should continue to fight, but he should fight over in the UK. Or at least have American fighters go over to the UK for a change.

I feel for him though. Being good, but not great. Being great, but not elite. It sucks always coming in second. If he fought in the UK i'd still follow him.
