If Marquez and Vasquez aren't ready to fight again then no way do they have too.

These guys have just had three wars in row against each other and they deserve a rest. These guys shortened their careers in those fights and if they don't fight again it wouldn't surprise me.

If they do continue the chances are Lopez will eventually get his shot against either of them.

I have to agree, somewhat.

A lot of the Puerto Rican fans here are acting as if Marquez, Vazquez, or both owe Lopez a shot at them.

That's simply not the case.

If Marquez and Vazquez are in as bad a shape as it's been reported (Marquez with dizzy spells, Vazquez needing 3 eye surgeries), they don't owe anybody ****.

They can take their ball and go home - they don't need to prove anything to anybody, anymore.

Their health is much more important than any fight.

You need to respect the veterans of the game. At what point do they have to stop proving themselves? When does it end?
If they wanna retire or fight each other for bigger money as a last fight they have that right. They dont owe every up and coming prospect a shot.
