Christ, a lot of the guys he fought were the same size, some were bigger. Moving up in weight doesn't automatically mean the next guy you fight will be naturally bigger than you.
But saying Floyd never fought a bigger man (let alone that they were all smaller) until Baldo/DLH is hilarious.

how is it possible for a guy moving up from 140 to 147 be a bigger fighter than the guy that actually fights at 147?

GBP is doing the best for his fighter in JMM, He would make more money against Mayweather and he would get his name out there especially against a fighter that has been out for 18 months.

Am pretty sure GBP are smarter than the average fan like me and you.

i think jmm would make more money fighting hatton or pac myself.

gbp is probably smarter than us average fans but in this case i don't think they did what was best for jmm.

jmm should be next for pac fight. in a more even fight that he has a chance to win. it would be 135 champ vs. 140 champ. #1 vs. #2 p4p. it would be the 3rd of their trilogy. it would have been great.

Floyd was bigger than Mitchell, Gatti, and Bruseles right off the bat.

I don't blame him for the tune up but to say Mitchell was bigger is stretching things especially since Mitchell just got laid out at 140.

Williams fighting Mitchell was horrible too. Mitchell was busted after Kostya Tszyu destroyed him.

I know Floyd fought 10 people he was bigger than, we can bodywise this all day- but that doesn't mean much.

If the point is, Floyd is a small welterweight fine, but it doesn't excuse him for his record there and the fact that people look at his 140-147 era with skepticism.

You can justify it because of the money he made(i don't blame him) but not his competition there.
