Robbery is the scorecard of the judge who had Frochy four rounds up against Taylor. Ditto the judgment that Lewis lost on points to Holy in their first fight which led to a draw.

I call it a robbery because manny fought just as hard, and gave just as much effort as marquez. the fight was virtually even give or take a round or two. but marquez went down 3 times.
I feel like ppl say marquez won because he fought hard, and showed heart, so they think he deserved it. however, that isnt how fights are scored. i have no doubt that without the kds, it would have been a draw or went either way. but when a fighter goes down 3 times, he has to win 8 rounds to even det a draw. there is no way that that fight was as one sided as bernard hopkins vs. winky wright (2 judges had hopkins up 8 rounds to 4)
do you see y i say manny was robbed?

Martinez vs. Cintron.
Martinez was robbed of a KO, then robbed of a decision! The referee was an incompetent idiot - he counted a cut caused by a punch as being from a headbutt, then believed Cintron's lie that he was KOed by a headbutt, then deducted a point from Martinez without justification. Then the judges gave rounds to Cintron that he obviously didn't win.

lol dumbass, i was talking about my favorite fighter list...... ****** muther****er.....
1. tyson
2. floyd.
3. jones
4. pacquiao
are you ******ed?
"Mayweather is much better than Whitaker"
my opinion. other will agree, but it is debateable
"because height wins fights"
it certainly does help, jackass
"whitaker vs chavez really was a draw"
just like manny vs. marquez right? idiot
"yup, that sure did happen"
i admitted to being wayy off on this one......
"who punches harder, trinidad or mosley?"
argurable. trinidad and mosley both hit hard. no reason y this couldnt go either way
$
"quintana is a b class fighter, margarito is ****"
they are.... my opinion, and other fighters happen to prove me right (cotto, mosley)
"prime odlh couldnt beat mayweather when a past prime odlh came really close to, back in the day refers to the 1990's btw"
scorecards can be argued all day. floyd had never fough above 147, and floyd was a better fighter in the lower weight classes. argueable, nowhere near ******, like you
"james kirkland destroys williams, it's obvious right?"
well im sure he cant from jail, but if they were to meet in the ring, kirkland by ko would be my bet...... simple.
does anybody else find these post as "dumb" as boxasmash? because maybe its just me........ but this guy seems like the ******est poster on here......Last edited by skullduggery; 05-09-2009, 08:40 AM.

The only thing he didn't do was pressure Manny, but instead did most of his worth with counterpunching. Manny did pressure Marquez throughout, but was it effective aggression, when he was being outlanded and outboxed? That's why I scored most rounds for Marquez...he landed more, and forced Pacman to fight his way, rather than allowing the fight to be dictated by the pressure fighter.

Judging a fight is very subjective, and much more difficult than most people think. I keep a scorecard for most of the fights I watch, and I'm about as fair a person as you'll ever meet, and would put my scorecard up against any judge in the business.

Yeah, I agree with this one. That was horrible judging and even worse refereeing.
There have been others but this one was especially bad.

The guy I watched the fight with is a HUGE Pacman fan, and he gave Marquez 7 rounds. But even being pretty bias, and picking the fight apart multiple times, there's no way I could give Manny more than 6 rounds, and that's stretching a ways, which would be a decision in his favor by 3 points, or 111 to 114. And that's giving a 10-6 round to Manny in the 1st. If you gave him a 10-7 in the first, and still gave him 5 rounds, that's a draw.
