You must not love Juanma that much. Vazquez will murder him.

Juanma is too young, powerful and skillful to lose to Vasquez at 122 or 126.

As much as I love watching him fight I don't want to see this guy in anymore wars. Israel should have a couple of easy fights then retire, but I'm sure he won't.

              I agree completely.

I absolutely love Vazquez ; as a fighter, and as a person.

He does his business in the ring, he never has a bad word to say about anybody, and he's always willing to fight the best.

But that trilogy with Marquez really fucked his vision up, he needed 3 seperate surgeries to fix his retina.

If he comes back, I'd want him to avoid fighting a guy like Lopez at this point in his career. Simply for his health and well being ; I don't want to see him end up like so many fighters before him who've had vicious wars that extracted a severe physical toll on them.

But something tells me he'll be knee deep in the trenches with Lopez within the next year.

That's just the type of guy he is.

Man a detached retina is no joke, back in the day (before the advent of laser surgery and the like) it was enough to end a guy's career. Even in the 80's it was enough to send Sugar Ray Leonard into his first retirement. I hope Vasquez can come back from this and do well, but at 31 that's getting prettyold for the lower weight classes. Whatever he does, he should stay clear of JuanMa for a while as the guy's power and speed would likely be too much for the rusty future HOF fighter.

I love Vazquez and Lopez, and would love to see this fight. I hope it happens before this year is over.
