The thing is that Pacquiao is from Phillppines and Floyd American, and for Floyd to ne the nniggest American Draw, and he is overrun by somebody in his own contry, is kid sad.

Pacquiao is a Idol in Phillipines and he cam to another country and became a bigger draw than that coutrys biggest draw.

Like I said in the US they are roughly equals, I think Pacman sells more tickets Floyd does better with PPV. Floyd took almost 2 years off so somethign like **** is not really suprising someone was going to get big in boxing while Mayweather was away. I do not think you can underestimate the ammount of ill will Floyd can generate (aside from boxing it is his best skill), that makes people want to see him get beat so badly. In terms of people who like Floyd that is a lesser number, but the people who always buy Floyd fights is a much larger number because lots of people do not want to miss it when he gets beat.

It will be interesting when the fight (if, Pacman could fight Cotto and get beat although at a low catchweight, I think I like Manny's chances), all the **** that has been building will all come to a head (I honestly feel this fight will be so big because I think a lot of people view Manny as the guy to take out Floyd, just looking at the general feeling on the message board I just feel I am seeing this belief take root, if the buying public thinks Manny is the man to beat Floyd, oh man I think it could break records). Oh well I hope I get to see it.

That said if they are equals in the US then of course Manny would be bigger all over the world because they would be equal in the one market Floyd should.

Last I checked, DLH is retire, and Pac did double in PPVs than Flpyd against the same guy!!!!!!!!!!

I think that is total worldwide buys, I don't really trust Arum's word on the matter either. The fight did great business anyways though I was doing the math on it last night I think it generated $70-80 million world wide (not a bad haul for a single night imo)
