I don't know how an unconventional Carl Froch is a made to order fighter? There are not that many like him. Seems he is hated on because he eats a lot of punches. So what? He is one of the most exciting fighters out there. Pure entertainment.

Although I consider Dawson was one of the best boxers today, my criticism of him is that he's playing too much boxing politics, this fight is an example of one. Boxing politics screws a fighter, just look at Kessler's situation.

Tarver had a rematch clause. He's getting that out of the way. Kessler case is completely different. He would get ricky hattoned if he leave Denmark at this point, so he will be waiting for his chance in the dark. Since Calzaghe done it everyone of the Euro fighters is trying this same trick, wait, make defenses, pad your record, decision a couple 40 year olds for ATG status This will work for: Abraham, Kessler, Froch (if he's lucky and stays clear of dawson and pavlik) and many others. In ten years the boxing world will be in shock at the amount of "ATG" fighters it has produced (literally)

Chad is great and he beat Johnson. Yeah, yeah, you guys are crying cause it was a close fight but he still got it done. As for a rematch sure it would be nice because its a crowd pleasing fight but it does very little for his resume. You guys keep saying hes unproven but what the hell does a clear victory do for Chad. Slice it up any way you want, Glen is a has been and you guys would still call Chad unproven. Chad needs to move on after tonights fight and get in the ring with Bernard or some of the younger guns so he can stop you haters from bad mouthing him.

It would remove the question marks but still leave him "unproven". I like Glen Johnson as much as anyone - he's been on the end of some pretty poor decisions throughout his career - but I can't say he's an outstanding boxer (much less, ELITE) because he isn't. The fact that Dawson struggled to beat him MUST raise the odd question mark about his ability.

Look, Chad is progressing nicely. I like his style and his attitude. But he has yet to face a genuinely stern test. Until he does and wins he must remain "unproven".
