    There's A Difference Between.....and......!!!

This is the last point Im going to make about this. One of the main arguments against my post last night was people saying that me talking about Pac being such an amature shows that I havent payed atteniton to how much he's growed. That is completely false. Ive said on here a million times that Ive rarely ever seen guys grow and add to there game the way Pac and Cotto have.

Pac is a certified beast and I will never diss what he's done. He has exceptional speed, power, he's a Southpaw, and he's got maybe the best P4P body that Ive ever seen. However, the main thing Im trying to tell you is that there is a difference between being one demensional and being amatureish. Pac use to be one demensional. That was his biggest criticism. He by far isnt one deminsonal anymore. He can do a ton of things but the problem is he still does alot of it at a amatureish level. You guys are getting that mixed up. He's grown alot in terms of adding different demenisons to his game but his fundemental base it still bad. Cotto on the other hand has grown and has grown with fundementals so its a little better for him. He's a very fundementaly sound fighter while Pac has added alot of demensions but still lacks the basics. He still gets sloppy at times, has bad balance, and can get crossed up.

I swear Im telling you that Senior was right when he's talking about this. They showed Senior that clip of Pac just throwing a million punches super fast and he had the same thought as me. Thats amatureish. Anyone can look fast when there just throwing straight punches like that. Thats what I use to argue about guys like Floyd & JMM. Other guys arent faster but they will look much faster then them because those 2 guys are going to throw meaningful precised punches. Theyre doing it with skill and with aim. Theyre not just throwing punches just to throw punches. Theyre throwing certain punches with great technique. If youre a great defender then Pac can throw with all that speed he wants but he wont land those type of punches on you. He'll get some through because he's a Southpaw and thats just going to happened but he wont consistently land on a great defender throwing those type of punches because its basic stuff. There's speed and then there's timing. Floyd & JMM have great speed but they base it on timing and precised punches. Pac is just going to throw a hundred mph and something will land because he's a Southpaw and he's facing guys with bad D. That wont work with Floyd and he's terribly off balance when he does it. The bottom line is that there's a difference between being one demenisonal and being amatureish. In one area he has grown a ton but in the other area he cant. He's so good and phyicaly gifted that most guys still cant expose him but Floyd is just the worst matchup for him. Mosley & Cotto are bigger and bring less money but if theyre smart then they will take those fights over a Floyd fight.
