If Khan shows more defensive inprovement against Kotelnik, and wins the title, then I would pick him over Hatton.

Khan might not be as powerful as Manny, but he is certainly as strong as Lazcano, and his speed will increase this threat. He also has near equal hand speed to Manny, and that will pose huge problems for Hatton.

Remember, Khans chin is only a problem if Hatton can hit it. If not, I fear a defensively improved Khan would stop Hatton early. Ricky just can't walk through punches anymore. Plus Roach will focus on Khans hooks, which will put Ricky more in trouble.

Prediction: Khan will be an underdog, but I feel at this point in Hattons career he will be too much for him. Khan before 5.

I think Khan would be way to fast for Hatton. Hatton would have a punchers chance due to Khans chin but I'd say Khan would outbox him.

Tougher fight for Hatton than many people think. For a start, Roach has his number. That's a big enough obstacle to deal with.

Yes, Khan has a questionable beard - but I'm pretty such Prescott would have knocked Ricky onto ***** Street with the same punch. It was a truck.

Khan has extremely fast hands, puts combinations together well, has all the shots and is not feather-fisted. If he keeps the fight at range he gives Ricky all sorts of problems. Hatton will eat those combos all night long and at this stage in his career - minus his punch resistance - I'm not sure how many rounds of punishment he could take.

If the ref allows Ricky's WWE stuff it could be a different fight. Look, Khan has to concentrate on that Patterson peek-a-boo-style defence. If he keeps his hands high he's a nightmare for anyone in that division. Say what you like abou the kid - there's no doubt he has boxing talent.

Certainly got talent. Whilst Roach might have Hatton's number having the fighter to put a plan into action is another matter, Khan is no Pacman.
The million dollar question is will he keep those hands up Naz had lots of talent too but still was making schoolboy errors.

Nas had a chin and great movement in the ring so he could afford to make mistakes, Khan listens to Roach and after his loss he knows he cant afford to slip up again, i dont see Hatton winning, Khans handspeed and accurecy would win him the match.
I think it is a risky Fight for Khan, not in the ring but outside the ring, all of britian loves Hatton and if Khan was to beat him imagine the hate and racism he would recieve, british people say Khan doesnt deserve a belt well Look at what belt Hatton won on his 23rd fight(the WBU belt) he only won a respectable world title belt in his 39 fight against Kostya Tszye(IBF) people are criticle of Khan even tho he is just a young lad and expect him to fight very big fights when he aint ready. I love Ricky Hatton but i hate some of his fans(the minority who are idiots, like the twats who booed khan at the weigh in).
Give Khan 2/3 years and he will be in his prime, yes he is young but he is not on top of his game, still good enough to beat todays Hatton tho

This fight is just never going to happen. If Ricky fights again, he has unfinished business with Junior Witter.

It would be ****** for him to fight Witter now, after all that time dodging him(im not saying he was csared of him) to saying "ok il fight ya know".
