That'd be awesome. Nothing against Chad, but it would be another great storyline in modern LHW boxing.
If the fight is more competitive, it will vindicate HBO for buying it. Did they see something 99% of forum posters didn't? :PComment

I love to watch (but not listen to) Tarver, he's one of the truly random events in the universe. On any given day....no, in any given second, he's capable of beating the best in dramatic fashion, or losing to the worst with a lackluster performance, and you just never know what the hell you're going to see until the leather starts flying. Gonna be glued to HBO tomorrow night.
Just to say it up front, I think Tarver is going to be right with his Gods, and will put Dawson's lights out.Comment

It means he probably hit his target weight a day ahead of schedule. Don't read anything into it, not a big deal.

He won rematches against Harding, Johnson, and Jones because he was "game" in the first fights. You can even make a case that was he was weight drained against Hopkins. He looked like **** against Dawson and couldn't do anything to beat him, he won't do anything different in the second fight but be a little bit more competitive.Last edited by Boxingwizard; 05-08-2009, 07:50 PM.Comment
