To me it's not only about proving people wrong, but the willingness to fight the best & risk defeat. He came back better after the Morales loss. I think at the end of the day it's human nature to appreciate witnessing someone fall down & get back on top again. It's something everyday people can relate to. The manner in which Manny has done that since his childhood in the slums is just a phenomenal story.
