Recap of the dubious figures cited for Pac-Hatton::
This May 04, 2009 CNN article sloppily misuses an Arum quote
about dela Hoya-Pacquiao ppv numbers:
"...we know based on those early numbers and based on experience
the event will perform extremely well. If I had to guess, anywhere
between 1.6 million and two million homes, which is a home run."
which had earlier appeared in USA Today back in December of 2008
Here at BoxingScene, Mark Vester's May 04, 2009 article also mis-cribs
USAToday's 2008 quote from Arum.
Finally, Roy Luarca's PDI article claims 1.6 to 2 million in PPV sales,
citing USA Today, but the only USA Today article with those figures
is the same old one about delaHoya-Pacquiao's 2008 PPV performance.
Arum's actual (and only) estimate for the Pac-Hatton PPV take in the
US is "north of 900,000", in this article by ****bag Ronnie Nathanielsz.
Arum's quite accomplished at twisting the truth, too.
Obviously... we can't believe these "1.6 Million - 2 Million" figures.
The unreferenced "insider info" in another thread is hardly any better,
and we should just wait for an official HBO heads-up.

For how packed the spot I was in, I believe the numbers.
The spot I was at usually only gets packed for UFC fights.
People had to park in the next two businesses parking lots to get parking.
Standing room only packed to the walls.
People who had NO idea about anything about the fight were there.
Lots of dudes I would ask questions to or there opinions were like "I don't even watch boxing I just came to see the fight"Comment
