      Dish out them thoughts...
I believe that any of the people you have just said would be fine for an opponent for mayweather. altho mosley is the main man at welter now, id rather cotto than mosley. to be fair tho, he should concentrate on marquez because that is gonna be a very tough fight. I wouldnt be surprised if marquez wins. floyd might not even have to fight pacman to regain his p4p crown, you just never know in boxing, example, floyd destroys marquez and pac loses his next fight then the logical p4p would be floyd.

It doesnt matter about weight....its about what the fight means.

People are so stuck on he has to fight a WW...um why?

Just because Cotto weighs 147.....????...What the **** kind of logic is that.
I think its tough to say Pacquiao is CLEARLY better than both Mosley or Cotto, I don't think he beats either guy soundly at all. Grant it, the weight between Pac, Floyd, Cotto, or Mosley isn't much of a stretch, but it doesn't automatically excuse Floyd from not fighting either Mosley or Cotto who've been in the running for years now. Nobody was talking about Pacquiao vs Mayweather even as early as last March. The P4P fight between Floyd and Pacquiao is very intruiging...but so are fights with Miguel and Shane...and also considering the fact that Floyd has been a Welterweight for 4 years gives people a good reason to complain about him fighting the current Lightweight champion in July. He's not necessarily going at the lineal 154 champ either ya know.

If Cotto beats Clottey Mosley and Cotto should fight... That fight has meaning, Cotto can regain his Welterweight crown, or Mosley can avenge his loss to Cotto...

            Mayweather vs. Pac

            Cotto vs. Mosley

            winner vs. winner

I think that Pac could beat Mosley. He swings wide and people don't consider the frame difference. Pac has a shorter shoulder width than Mosley, Cotto, and maybe Floyd. His punches are straighter as a result and Mosley throws wide hooks. Pac would be landing straights all day to the face while Mosley swings with a looping hook trying to ko the "little guy". Pac is faster and moves around with his legs and head. The same thing with Cotto. Although both of those guys have more power than Manny which is why all the bigger guys will not try to box him, they will all assume that the guy before them did something wrong and they will go for the ko. Thats why everyone wants a piece of him because he is smaller and they think they can put him away.
Exactly why Hatton did his thing instead of listening to May Sr.....he thought he could put Manny down with one good punch but it did not happen. Of course they all want to fight him because of the name and money too but the size thing I believe is getting into people and they think it will be an easy bout. To gun for a fight with him for the simple reason that you are bigger than him is ******.

In my opinion no he wouldnt be a *****. Cuz truth be told i been wanting to see cotto vs mayweather for 2 and half years and mosley vs mayweather since 2000. The big money fight would be pac vs floyd which i dont mind seeing either but if he takes cotto or mosley before pac its all good in my book.

Any of the 3 are just fine. People want to see floyd fight the best and be tested, aside from Pwill these 3 are probably the toughest fights out their for floyd. i'd love to see all 3.
