James Toney vs. Sergey Lyakhovich on July 4

    According to Dan Rafael.

What do you think of this one? Sergey's fought only once in the past two and a half years, but Toney hasn't been very active either.

I could see Toney winnin this, but it won't do him any good. He wouldn't beat either K bro if he got a shot.

It all depends upon whether Lyakhovich can get himself into fighting shape after his Don King-imposed inactivity. Happily, he's free of King now.

Toney is done. He has nothing left. Sergei... eh, you never know what you're going to get. I'm going to say that it'll be a boring fight though. Sergei seems to respond to what you give him and Toney isn't going to give that much. Sergei SD that should have been a UD.

Sam Peter and Michael Grant are also supposed to be on this card in separate bouts. I have to ask, why not fight each other? Is Grant no longer interested in being a contender? He hasn't fought anyone with a pulse in five or six years, since the Guinn debacle. He is remembered for the Lewis demolition, but he did beat Golota and Savarese leading into that fight.

          This sounds about right.

Toney had a lot of trouble fighting a nobody in his last fight. He won a split decision against Fres Oquendo. I think he should retired before he gets a beating.

Toney is delusional at this point. My mom will **** him up. Toney is an all time great but a hard headed mutha you know what. Itgs like he wants to die in the ring cause he ain't got it anymore, and at this point I wont even watch his fights cuz he's threw any bum can beat Toney these days, doesnt matter who they are. A K brother against toney would be slaughter and heartless somebody needs to take his boxing license away. He doesnt even need the ****ing money.

He was such a ****ing master that I dont think it will get through to him that his body can't do it, his mind can think it, see it, but his body just can't do it. Seeing a sloppy toney fight is heartbreaker, If I knew him, I'd shoot him in his leg just so he wouldn' get hurt mentally and I mean that out Genuine love. His wife needs to stab him in his foot, slice off his toe, do something so he ****ing stops before he becomes a tragic story.

The loser should retire, because they really will be bottom of the barrell.
