Arum changes the Hatton-Pacquiao sales number....AGAIN!!

Arum supposedly said that the fight did "1.6 million sales in the US alone". Now, he is saying that the fight did "north of 900K in the US'. A certain group of people had jumped all over that 1.6 million number.

Here is the problem.

I have issues with anybody who gets too hyped up. And anybody who starts posting without knowing anything about the sport. Right now, Los Pinoys are the main culprits. It's like 90% of them just started watching boxing with the Delahoya fight.

Here's the deal:

Oscar was CLEARLY dehydrated. Still , great win for Pac, and he did his thing. But they INSIST that Oscar was fine because "nacho said so". Even though Freddie Roach said he saw the IV marks and the doctors report.

Manny had an awesome performance vs Ricky. But Los Pinoys somehow need to turn that into "two million PPV buys". No. That is not accurate. Not nearly.

My favourite fighters have been Manny, Floyd, Gooz, Casamayor, Salita and Malignaggi. I don't hype my fighters. I challenge ANYONE to find anything I have said that is inaccurate or "hype-y" about my guys. So, it is annoying when I start reading all types of dumb, over-the-top ****. Whether it is about a guy I like, or a guy I hate.

If I post a Mayweather number, it will be the real nums. Not some 3x actual to try to bamboozle people. I was hoping and praying that Malignaggi would outpoint Hatton. I even went to my santero for that ****. But I'm not going to predict that Malignaggi was gonna KO Hatton. That wouldn't be reasonable. I know that Gooz effed up with the Campbell fight. Me duele. And he may have effed up AGAIN by turning down Judah on the undercard of the big PBF-JMM fight.

I see these uneducated boxing fans saying that "proof" that Manny is better than Floyd is because he stopped Hatton much faster. I know that you have seen those posts. WTF? How does that determine anything?
Didn't Hatton stop Castillo, after JLC gave Floyd trouble? Didn't Foreman destroy the guys who beat Ali? This is a boxing site. Learn the sport before you say dumb ****.

I guess Izzy would KO pac since Izzy KO'd Larios in ONE MINUTE but Pac went 12 rounds and had problems with Larios.

It used to be the Hatton fans that were a stone in my shoe. Now, it is the dogeaters. Which is a shame, because i really do love Manny. And I have posts going back years to prove that.

I think he is just putting a ceiling on all the hype Bob Arum is putting out their about Pacquiao.

Bob Arum used to try and do this with Cotto...he would say cotto did 800,000 buys beofre the numbers were even release... and when it was time for the numbers to be release bob arum would never release the numbers because he knew they were drastically lower then he originally reported.
and in the case of the cotto vs. margarito fight the offical numbers still havent been release by hbo...

I dont see it as he trying to humiliate the pinnoys...But he is just reminding them dont believe bob arum boasting because he is usually lying.
