Bob Arum Concerned Over Manny Pacquiao's Finances

I think it is a good gesture for Arum to be worried. Manny seems a little too kind with his money and Arum wants to make sure he has something to retire with.
I remember Pernell Whitaker had the duva's looking out for him. They took one of his bigger paydays, invested it so Pernell now gets around $100,000 a year for life income from it.
More fighters should have their promoters looking out for them.

Wow, Manny Pacquiao is going in like Floyd. I guess when you getting
it like that then it's easy to over due it. Me, I would bury most of that
$ and live a lavious but modest life style and make sure my family is
good. I would buy some buildings but make sure they are more
investments they just having them. One thing about $ is that the
more you get the more you spend so it's good to keep that revenue
coming in.

P.S. Happy for Pacquaio, he deserved his glory!
But i don`t think Arum is the one who should be trusted... He`s a hell of businessman, who won`t lose his opportunity to grab a piece of a large cake (Pacquaio`s fees)...

Whenever he gets money, he better pay his taxes down on his earnings and income from boxing for that year before the IRS (and the Philippines' IRS equivalent) starts to salivate over the ever-growing back-taxes.
Happened to Joe Louis and Mike Tyson. And I hear Holyfield is in big trouble, too...

If Bob Arum knows one thing it is how to look after his own personal finances. Manny should take his advice, people that went to Harvard usually do not give away free advice like that.
