SD or UD is more logical. Or pacman will KO mayweather
It doesn't matter how long it took him to KO Hatton ; he still knocked his ass out.

And part of the reason it took him so long was because he fought Hatton's fight ; an inside brawl.

Pacquiao didn't do that, he was smarter, and did his business in his usual "in and out" style.

But which is more significant : Doing it faster, or doing it first?

The consensus is that Mayweather would win via SD or UD. However, if Pacman becomes an easy target then the accumulation of punches may force a stoppage before the 12th round.

          Sorry threadstarter, but it's a typical noob type of question. A beat B in 10, C beat B in 2, therefore C > A.

Hatton was still undefeated, still believed in himself, had only been wobbled once in his entire career vs Collazo. He went in with the Tszyu mentality - "I will walk through everything to get to you" - which actually worked until the 10th.

Against Pacquiao he was still a good fighter, but his chin had been cracked, had even been wobbled multiple times by B fighter Lazcano. So you put in a whirlwind like Pacquiao who doesn't fight defense-first and seeks to overwhelm his opponent, and you get a 2nd round knockout.

Pacquiao has been hurt against Marquez a few times, and Floyd is a bigger guy. Presumably Floyd will keep his hands up every time Pacman attacks, and he's smart enough to avoid all of Pacman's flurries.

Exactly what I was going to say. How could Ali KO Foreman when he lost to both Ken Norton and Joe Frazier who George blew out in 2 rounds? Answer: Styles make fights.

either way, thread starter is an idiot.

                floyd fights like a f*g
                pac fights like a man

doesn't mean pac>floyd based solely on that. (pac>floyd cause he's accomplished more )
