2 of the BIGGEST mistakes in JMM's Career!

After Pac-JMM I, JMM made the 1st biggest mistake of his career by walkin away from the rematch and instead opted out for Chris John for less money and ended up losing the controversial decision. In the meantime, Pacman continues his rise to stardom with the Morales trilogy, Larios fight, etc. while JMM is climbing through the ranks again. If he would have rematched Pacman immediately, Im more than positive that JJM takes it 100% against that version of Pac. But then they finally rematch, but now Pacman is very much improved from when they first met.

Now in the rematch, he makes his 2ND BIGGEST mistake, although it is more of a misfortune, by getting knocked down in the third. Without that knockdown, Pacman most likely draws or loses without any controversy. Remember that JMM was one of the most feared mexican fighters at featherweight after the PAC-Barrera fight.

Take away these two mistakes, and where is Marquez today? He's probably one the the biggest draws in boxing today, although fighting at lower weights still since he isn't chasing pacman. Both great fighters and it's nice to see that both are at the top of the boxing game today.

On the flipside, what if there was like an additional 30 seconds in round 1 of the first fight or round 3 of the rematch...would we be even talkin about JMM right now?

LOL at least we agree on the 1st mistake. It blows my mind just thinking how far JMM coulda have rose in this sport.

As far as that his japanese trainer, what an idiot for takin those pics. Still not as bad as the dela hoya fiasco.

The only mistake he made was pricing himself out of the rematch and going to indoneisa.

The only mistakes were made by the judges in the two fights who robbed him. JMM is 2-0 against Packy.

And for the poster saying "what if there was more time in those rounds" thats bull****. The same could be said about all the times JMM wobbled Packy's ass.
          No what if's.

That's changing the whole aspect of the boxing game. The answer would most likely be no, 30 more seconds and JMM's career is ruined. But the name of the game is 3 min rounds, and if pac can't finish him off within that timespan, then all is fair. Hats off to JMM for his heart and recovery abilities. Nothing JMM could do to change that in his power, what im saying is if he immediately rematches pacman, then he wins and changes his career.

Well what If JMM started dry humpin Pacman in the ring, mistaking him for his gay japanese lover!!! It ain't ever gonna happen, just like the extra time would never happen. Taking a rematch immediately COULD have happened but it didn't, and it set back JMM marquez's career 4-5 years. Just wondering what people think about his mistakes.
