so you're saying that mayflower could still go down to 135 and maybe even 130? that's the only way they'd be the same size, get off floyd's cawk

pac started his career at 106 pounds, moved up and fought marquez eventually

are you REALLY trying to compare the weight disparity between them?

Well, the only way to fight Pacquiao is at 140-142.

Floyd has more bulk on him than Pacquiao, so they look like they aren't the same size. In reality they will be the same size in the ring. Pacquiao dwarfed Hatton just like Floyd did, in terms of size.

What weight is the Marquez-Mayweather fight at? Exactly, so its basically a 140lb fight.

Haha, I like that Ricardo Martinez ava. I hope Sendo can get a shot at him, im tired of Ippo winning every damn thing.

Why do fighters need to fight in a catchweight? It is to compromise the size difference between the two. It means one is a little bit smaller than the other. You like to believe that they are the same size but in reality Mayweather has outgrown 140 but because he does not baloon in between fights his fight night weight is almost the same as the night before.

marquez vs floyd is mismatch in every way. i don't want pac to fight cotto or mosley either. it's just becoming ****** for these little greats to agree on catchweights. they should let their bodies grow naturally (pac's doing that) or just clean their respective division

marquez an old dude... he's forcing himself to move up (even at 135 he's small), which will take a toll on him come july 18. pac should wait a year or so and win a title at welter, but when he NEEDS to move up, instead of fighting a welter at a catchweight for no titles

BTW, i don't think sendo's style would do anything on martinez. he's perfect at timing aggressive boxers... look at what he did to ippo at sparring.

imo, miyata or vorg (rated 5th currently) should get a shot first and later help ippo prepare for a martinez fight. who knows, maybe he'll perfect his dempsey/counter move and win it

Well, how do we all know that Marquez doesn't cut down to make 130? Maybe he is a natural 140 and just cuts for fights? Hell, Paul Williams is a MW and cuts to 140. So, I dont think its too farfetched to assume Marquez isn't a real LW, and perhaps is a JWW naturally.

That is so untrue and that is my major point. People just go by weight classes but you have to go by the size of the guy. Floyd never outgrew the weight classes. He just moved up to chase the big money Oscar fight. He outgrew 130 but thats it. He had 4 fights at 135 where he was by far the smallest guy in each fight, was the smallest guy in the division coming into the ring at only 139 but still moved up to 140. He went to 140 and only had 3 fights where he came into the ring at 144 for all of them. He was again the smallest guy in the division. He then goes to WW where he's only coming in the ring at 146-148 pounds. Again he's the smallest guy in the division. He has the 1 fight at SWW where he weighed in at 150 only because it was a mandate by Oscar and showed up at 148 on fight night

This is too easy, you guys are now nitpicking and it leads to self ownage. Now by the logic that you two smarties are using, size, Miguel Cotto and Arthur Abraham are the exact same size. Why don't they fight?
I mean yeah AA got 3" on Cotto and is 3 weight classes above him but you guys are not talking about weight and height now it's size.

You're like a little cheerleader in every Mayweather thread, always on the sidelines not saying anything important. Always cheering on those who are actually discussing against Mayweather.
