You really cannot go be what Diaz looks like and determine he is out of shape. Some people just do not and cannot get ripped. Their body chemistry does not allow it.

He is in amazing shape when he fights. He has amazing stamina and can go 12 rounds non stop. Don't let the baby fat make you think he is slacking.

Diaz isn't really a power puncher. He wears his opponents down with his punch volume and pressure. Paulie is a slick boxer with fast hands and feet. He basically sticks and moves. Juan isn't the fastest guy in the world, so Malignaggi can win by keeping his distance and stopping Diaz from working his way inside. The only problem is that Malignaggi severely lacks power and if he can't keep Diaz honest, then the Baby Bull could potentially break the Magic Man down.

He wasn't able to do it against Hatton and will fail against Diaz who is even more pressure and attack oriented than Hatton. Plus Diaz cuts off the ring better than Hatton also.

100% true. Looks can be deceiving.

They should hook this up as co-main event on July 18, hyped as another US vs. Mexico kinda thing. (though Diaz have repped the US before)

You can't be serious. Diaz is no Lacy. Diaz tears Paulie apart easily with little resistance.
