This was one of the most anticipated fights since Hagler-Leonard but it failed to live up to the hype. Either way it was a very controversial decision. I thought it was a draw, I can't remember the rounds exactly but it went something like De La Hoya dominating the early round, Tito winning a few in the middle the all of the last 3 rounds because De La Hoya RAN from him. At the end I had it 6-6 even. Who do you think won?
De La Hoya vs. Trinidad who do you think won?

Thta fight was a draw.
DLH was looking good throwing Flurries in the last 10 Secs of every round, that landed in the air, while Tito just landed 1 or 2 clean punches per round.
Then in round 9 the marathon began.
6 Rounds a piece 114-114 a draw.Comment

De La Hoya won it easy. I had it 9-3 for Oscar. People say Trinidad won the last four rounds. Not at all. He looked absolutely terrible that night, and Oscar made him look ******. Even with Oscar running in the last couple rounds, I'll never understand how anyone had that fight close. I've seen it about 10 times for the record. Seriously. 10 times.Comment

Not surprised the first two to respond and claim it was close also have Cotto in their avatars or sigs.Comment

No way it was a draw. That was a rob in my choice, I seen it as DLH winning all 9 rounds and sticking to running in the last 3. Even then that still gives him the win. Besides Tito's face was busted a bit, DLH left clean.
In all honesty you have to admit that De La Hoya put on a masterful performance, he out boxed Tito at ease in the first 9 rounds.Comment
