The Juan Manuel Marquez of today will beat the Juan Manuel Marquez of 4 or 5 years ago. He's in his prime......his age might have slowed him down a bit but his skills and smarts improved.

And yeah he demolished Diaz by KOing him out. When you want to talk about non-demolition loss....watch Campbell-Diaz.

Chups, its seems you're a hardcore JMM dude, but your sig and avy seem to mock him...how do you reconcile this paradox?

diaz has some of the most tremendous pressure. have you seen his fights with freitas and julio diaz? diaz that jmm fought will give any one a hard fight because of his pressure, and not only that but he is a polished brawler. why would you compare that fight to jmm's chances of winning against floyd? if anything marquez will have an easier fight with floyd, a running pot shoter.

Psshh, this guy(pullcounter) doesnt even know what he's talking about. He always tries to diminish JMM in all his posts. He's a Mayweather Mafia undercover operative. Very shady.
Ignore is the best place for him.

Diaz is an accumulative punching freak. JMM was bound to get hit.........Floyd is an opportunistic/accurate 1 punch hitter. Sooner or later judges will notice this........he will lose their favor in the scorecards.

After this Floyd fight we will soon start cussing each other.

I thought against Jimrex Jaca he was looking a little old, but then of course made an adjustment and it was over for Jaca. Athletically he may not be where he once was, but his smarts and adjustments in the middle of fights is what gets him the wins. Mayweather didn't pick him becuase he was past it, like others have said it's because he's not a legitimate WW, but with that said JMM I feel still has a chance.
