I hope Floyd doesn't take the piss too much, Marquez is such a respectable guy, done things right, Floyd will be an ass if he takes the piss with a guy that much smaller than him.
    Knowing Floyd, he probably will.

    I hope not though.

As you said, Marquez is such a respectable fighter. He's really busted his ass to get to where he's at.

Too bad he chose such a wrong fight. I think he could have very well secured Pacquiao at 140 if he were to wait just a little bit longer.

Yea, When I watched the press conference I though Floyd was taking the piss abit standing behind him, Marquez seemed abit "quiet" with it all.

Marquez does his talking in the ring, it's where he builds his hype for his next fight, where he proves whos the best, basically all his promotion is done there.

Mayweather on the other hand is a Promotion/Hype first, fight second type of guy.

Did you see when the photographers called for a face off, and Floyd grabbed Marquez's arm and turned him to face him, and then smiled and did a bit of **** talking?

Marquez just smiled, like he always does.

But I would've hit the ***** right then and there if I was him.

That's Marquez's only problem, he needs a little bit of that Marco Antonio Barrera fire in his belly.

            GreatJoe,

Football too me, is on a whole different level, when my favourite fighter loses, for example Ricky Hatton, i'll be pretty pissed and depressed for a few hours maybe a day, but when my favourite team loses i'll be moping around for days. You can never beat the feeling of a last minute winner which i suppose if very similar to a knockout ala froch; take for example Man Utd vs Bayern Munich, the best of england, from the best of germany on the biggest stage of club football the Champions League final, Manchester United are on the verge of a historic treble, which had never been done before in the modern english era. But they are 1-0 down, with 90 minutes on clock, with only a few minutes of injury time left, but by some miracle we pull 2 goals out of the bag out of nothing, and within a few minutes my whole life has changed, from absoloute pits of agony and despar, to the incredible heights of ecstasy. Boxing has never given me that. This game will be forever remembered.

There's also nothing better then rivalry in football, what in boxing can compare to a Man utd vs Liverpool game? A Real Madrid vs Barcelona? For many people, Football is their life. I mean christ how sports do people do where they have PAY to play?! I mean where else do you see upwards to 55 year olds waking on a sunday to go and play football in some useless league on some ****ty pitch where its always pissing down, and have to pay money for it?!

And to this day it never ceases to amaze me. Again, i'm going to use another Man Utd example. Man Utd vs Aston Villa, we are losing 2-1, which is a bad result as our biggest rivals, are ahead of us, and we can't afford to drop points, but then out of nothing Ronaldo pulls it back to 2-2, with only a few minutes left, surely game over? But when i thought this game couldn't get any better, a 17 year old italian player who has never played a premiership game comes on and scores an absoloute beauty infront of 70,000 people and wins us the game, and drives us closer to the premiership title; Where can you get this in boxing? Incredible.

But how many times have Man Utd vs Aston Villa played.

So what if they win that match, they might lose to them a few months down the line, then win again a few months after that etc.

I'm just saying that the excitement isn't there if they have already played each other like 30-50 times, whats 1 match out of 50?

It's how I feel about boxing aswell, I don't like rematches, unless they are really needed.

A boxing match is to prove whos the best. Before Saturday, there were arguments to who was the best Hatton/Pacquiao, now it is abundantly clear that Pacquiao is much better than Hatton, the boxing match settled that bit of history, and no rematch is needed.
