Here's the deal.... you either believe that the 650K is directionally correct. Or you don't. If you don't, then ignore the thread.

The numbers dont matter either way. It's the result. Pacquiao impressed the hell out of everybody. I've never seen boxing covered the way it was the monday after his fight.

There is a reason that HBO hasn't (and likely WILL NOT) release the numbers.

To anybody that talks **** now, I will be gloating next week. FYI.

The first numbers are always low by 10-15%. So that would put it at somewhere over 700k. 700,000*60= $42 million, to get to $60 per ppv I split the difference between normal and HD but can adjust that figure as you see fit.

Manny made what 12 million? Ricky made 8 or 10 have heard both? To me it sounds like this fight rang the register, not ground breaking but still some soild business.

I thought that regular was $50 and HD was $60. Shouldn't your mix-adjusted average be in the low 50's?

You can easily account the losses from free streaming into this as well. If just a fraction of those were buys, we'd have had a good chance at record breaking events for a few fights now. I saw one outlet a while back that had video views well into 6 figures.
