His lifestyle catching up with him, his punch resistence isn't as great as it used to be but hes still got a decent chin. That punch that ko'd him was a perfect punch, FLUSH ON THE JAW

his punch resistance had been fading for a while

the beating Mayweather put on him was pretty much the last nail in the coffin

and after what Manny did to him i can only imagine how shot his punch resistance is now

Yea, I don't know how someone can take flush Kostya right hands to getting wobbled by Lazcano without their punch resistance being worse..

            He's not chinny.

His defense was always poor, but his strong chin enabled him to get to where he was. Many of his opponents like Urango, Tackie, Collazo and especially the hard-punching Tszyu hit him flush but he never went down.

Truth is, Hatton is a shot fighter.

on thing is for sure... Pac's punches got stronger at 140, I have now seen it at the DLH fight coz DLH has one of the best chins in boxing.

yea while the ko punch manny hit him with woulda dropped almost any fighter... the 1st round knock downs weren't EXECELLENT shots. the first one had a lot to do with hatton being open and off balance but the 2nd wasnt a great knock down punch at all. he blocked most of the impact and still went down. chin is def. fading. really think he should retire, nothing wrong with losing to the top p4p guys. even tho you lost extremely convincingly. but losing a fight or 2 to lesser oppents would ruin his legacy. like roy jones. tarver was a decent fighter but not that good. and glen johnson.... for christ sakes its glen johnson. when the chin goes thats it. and hattons is fading fast.

                  Hatton chinny?

Manny Pacquiao said he will climb back into the ring in October to fight Floyd Mayweather or whoever his promoters deem fit after the Philippines boxing superstar took a sixth world title.
