What is the Hype about Amir Khan????

He fought Barerra and won based on something should have not been and all the sudden he is Great. I didn't see the fight but I am wondering had the head butt not happen would he have still won?

Who the **** is hyping Khan you moron?

All I ever hear from Brits about Khan is negative stuff about how hes **** etc.

NEVER have I seen a BIG Amir Khan following about his skills? I think Im in the minority when I say he has legit skills to go far...he just doesnt have the chin.

And Khan would have destroyed Barrera regardless. Too fast, too strong, too young, too big.

The kid has extremely fast hands, he's accurate, he puts together excellent combinations and he has all the shots.

Yes, his chin isn't the best - but I'm not sure any fighter in the division could have stood up to some of the punches Prescott hit him with. That kid can really ****.

I hate all this Khan-bashing by British fans. He's a good boxer, a nice kid and he certainly doesn't deserve the venom that's currently being spat at him.

Khan gets so much undeserved hate, it really is shocking. The kid has all the talent in the world but his chin isn't attached right.

Juan Diaz would have stood up, Casamayor would have stood up, JMM would have stood up and countered him on way to a KO, Katsidis would have been wobbled, but stayed up, Valero would have stayed up. Hell even Toledo stayed up.

                Aamir

                Ex World Light Weight Champion.

He has lost the world belts earlier this year; but before his loss there were talks of Amir Khan fighting him.

This possibly may well happen at some stage; however if Amir Khan doesn't imrpove his defense than they will keep him away from Diaz as he is likely to get another battering from the 'Baby Bull'.

                  question

is did he let his own hype get to hsi head and not prepare well enough, and with this schooling in boxing that he received is that a slippery slope for his career now or would he reinvent himself and become a better fighter

I think before the Prescott knockout there was a bit of hype, which is expected if you work for Frank Warren and undefeated, but after that, even with his win against Barrera, there hasn't been any hype lately. No one in the British media, let alone international, has been talking about him.
