Even though we will probably never know for sure if Antonio Margarito used plaster wraps against Cotto,(I think it's likely) Margarito getting caught was the best thing that could have happened for Cotto. I mean boxing is a mental sport that requires such a big ego and confidence to compete at the highest level. Many fighters might never recover mentally from a beating like the one that Cotto took. They usually lose a little heart, become a little gun shy, or whatever the case may be. Now he has a built in and very possibly a legitimate excuse to tell himself, hey the only way he could take me out was by cheating and loading his gloves. If he truly makes himself believe that then his confidence level could be the same as it was pre Margarito and continue to have a great career. Only time will tell, when he faces a real opponent, but I think feeling that Margarito cheated against him will go a long way in getting that night out of his mind in future fights!

You are being dumb now we all kno marg has a very good chin but if someone is gettin hit with plaster your slowly going to start losing energy so your punches will not be as hard in the later rounds as they were in the opening rounds. if castillo woulda wrapped plaster the night he beat mayweather and castillo woulda been found using it on his next fight against a diff opponent you woulda been saying the same **** that he used it on mayflower.Comment

no proof but lets see lets use our brains he used it against mosley who lost to cotto and he beat cotto hes not gon use it on the guy who beat mosley but gon use it on mosley when mosley looked terrble against mayorga and lost to cotto? also the corner kept telling marg your punches should be solid now and all the **** they were saying. Also cottos face swelling like never before even though hes been hit by harder punchers than margarito. The bloodstain on the wrap that had blood on the corner and was confiscated had blood on the corner. Margarito lying on espn saying it was just tape that its a lie then his cornerman admitting he put them there even though he said its accidental which is bull because u dont do an accident twice at the same time. Margarito then saying he didnt kno this was happening . Come on its bull **** Cotto even said he never had swelling like that in his life and that his face was swollen for weeks.Comment
