That demureness, and the contrast with how he appears when he fights, is great with Manny, anyway.

One of the people I was watching the Pac-Hatton PPV with had only ever seen him in interviews, but she liked him and wanted him to win. When Manny took the ring, she noticed the change, the tension in his face muscles, the shroud of meanness crossing his features, and started asking "is he troubled, is he troubled?" Had to reassure her he's just getting ready to fight.

But yeah, I love that contrast. Wouldn't change him.

I just think he could be equally as sound but still say a tad more, with some weight, confidence and actual insight then he does. His English isn't that bad. I mean his post fight Hatton interview was poor, he just kept saying I'm just doing my job, I'm just doing my job, for the fans, my country, I let the promoters decide I decide nothing. Christ grow some balls Pac. He's just too concious of the slightest thing that could remotely offend or make even 1/2 people dislike him. That's a bit creepy for me.

Anyways lol, like the guy a lot, but that's a slight feeling I have with him.
Point taken. For me, it's why I like Manny, though. I also think it's a good thing that he refuses to engage in any kind of trash talk... because people underestimate him. Take, for example, your comments about him seeming naive, weak, etc. Maybe fighters see it the same way you do? Good! Because once he's in the ring it's like he hits a switch that says KILL on it. He will knock you senseless but help you up to your feet and show genuine concern. I like it because it proves you don't need a big mouth to be a draw in boxing. This guy lets his talent speak for itself, and that's refreshing to see in a boxing world full of people who talk complete rubbish and big themselves up all the time (but can rarely back it up to the fullest). It's kinda like a crap pop song that would be ignored without the half-naked chicks in it. Sex sells **** songs. Trash talk sells fights.

I like how Pacquiao carries himself.

It isn't that simple. Sex has sold many a great song. And sexlessness has sold many a **** song.

There's room for all of it. None of us really know the men behind the public personas. Manny's great. Mayweather's great. For different reasons, and diversity keeps the world from being a fucking bore. Why *****? If we're truly aware, we know that it's all bull**** except the pain, anyway. So let's watch them fight.

Yes, The Pacman is completely correct. He will humble PBF through yet another spectacular and unbelievable knockout victory. I believe it's coming. JAT
