    Hatton and Mayweather Sr. Why?

Ok first off, I am not making any excuses for Hattons loss whatsoever. I firmly believe that no matter who trained Hatton, he would always lose to Pacquiao. Pacquiao is leagues above him in talent and physical skill.

What I am just wondering is, is why did Hatton ever hire this guy to train him? They have no synergy at all. They come from different worlds, they prefer different styles, they have a totally different type of mindset, in and out of the ring. I mean seriously, what was the reason behind Hattons choice to pick him for training?

To train him to show some defense for once in his life, didn't seem to show any different version of Hatton though... No defense, same Hatton with his hands too low at the worst times. If you see Mannys posture he is in a defensive mode, with his hands held up high but at the same time protecting his body a bit too. When you see Hatton, he has his hands way too low, that is why Manny aimed those punches perfectly at Hattons face.
