In other words, Fraud the 137.5 pounder and champion for all time of that weight class is not a good propaganda artist. I agree, the truth does not look good to the ball-lickers.Last edited by BmoreBrawler; 05-07-2009, 04:56 AM.Comment

Cuz Floyd is really an idiot.I personally hate it when floyd says that pacquiao and marquez are too small and he's too big..THEYRE NOT jesus floyds just a couple pounds heavier than manny hell while floyds fightin around welter weight manny weighs AS MUCH AS FLOYD DOES but unlike floyd, manny blows up to fight smaller past prime feather weights lmao...
point is..why would floyd CLEARLY make himself look bad and say theyre smaller?? I just dont get the ****en logic in that.. i mean it keeps bugging me why would he say that??Comment

Good post, I thought the exact same thing when I heard him call JMM 'a little man'. I thought 'haha u ****** ****, you should be doing everything you can to make this seem like a legit fight as you're making him come up 1.5/2 weight classes.'If you know me then you know that Im a Floyd fan but I always keep it real about him. Some things make me really mad about him but the main one is his mouth. He's like the best talker and the worst talker all in one. He never can defend himself as good as his own fans on websites and he really makes me mad when he disses his opponents. Im not a flake. Im all for talkin trash and I think people are idiots when they say he's too disrespectful and that has no place in boxing. Boxing was made on trash talking and thats what makes it great. Where Floyd screws up though is he disses people in the wrong way sometimes. He disses them to the point where he's basically taking credit away from himself. Everyone already hates him and doesnt want to give him credit for anything so he shouldnt be adding fuel to the fire. If I was him I would talk trash in a normal way but try to boost my opponent up to make myself look good when I win.
I remember him ripping Gatti before there fight and trashing his resume. He called him a club fighter and talked about the guys he lost to where bums so how was he supposed to beat Floyd. Then the next day there are a hundred articles saying that if Gatti's so much of a bum then why should we act like thats a great win. He's done a bunch of stuff like that. Now he's fighting JMM and after all his fans talk about how small he is, Floyd's 1st statement was "Im not going to let a little man retire me". Then he goes on and on about how small JMM is. Now it just fuels what everyone has been saying about him picking on a small guy. Then they ask him about Pac and he says the same thing. He's so dumb that he even said that about Hatton when they fought and I remember mainstream fans that dont know much about boxing saying that Floyd was just picking on a little guy. They didnt even realize that he came from 2 divisions lower then Hatton, weighs 35 pounds less then Hatton outside the ring, and Hatton always has a 5-10 weight advantage on him no matter if he's fighting at 140 or WW.
Its the same with Pac. Pac's been weighing 147 since he was fighting at 130 which is the same thing Floyd weighs at WW but instead of saying that, he calls Pac a little man. Sure enough there was an article yesterday with a guy saying that Pac is better or atleast equal in skill but he will lose by SD because Floyd is so much bigger. It makes him look dumb because the 1st thing all the haterz say is why dont you fight the big WW's then, if youre so big? Whats his excuse? The real excuse for me is that he's outweighed by 14-22 pounds but that doesnt seem like that when he tries to play it like eveyrone at 140 is a little boy compared to him. I got so mad when I heard him say that. Then you got Roger on 24/7 saying that Hatton should beat a little man like Pac or he aint nothing. Have they seen Pac? He looks bigger & stronger then both Floyd & Hatton in his last few fights. It just makes them look dumb because everyone is going to discredit the win. Its like theyre so dumb that they dont know what to say. Ive gotten on them about this in the past about how Floyd doesnt never know how to defend himself.
If I was him I would be doing everything possible to make it seem like him & JMM is a fair fight. I wouldnt even call myself the P4P King like he's doing. I would say that Pac has earned the spot and JMM has earned the #2 spot and that me beating both of them back to back after a long layoff just shows how truly great I am. Instead he disses both and makes the fights look like jokes. Most mainstream people know nothing about the sizes and then he's going to talk non stop about it. 24/7 for both fights will be even worst. Then after that he probably will go to WW again and be pot shotting because he's so much smaller then the big WW's and then what can he say? If you listen to him talk you would think that he's a full fledge WW that comes in the ring at 160. Its like he never gets it until a reporter traps him. He'll diss the guy the whole time and the reporter will get smart and ask him why should we take this fight serious then? Then he cant think of anything and comes back cussing. All I know is that if he's going to talk the talk then he better walk the walk. Ill let you slide if you think youre a small man but if you think youre king kong then you might as well fight Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, and Williams.
Again, it makes me mad because I dont beleive he is that. I beleive he can beat all of them because his skills are so good but he's really a natural 137.5 pounder. He's not acting like it though so he better walk the walk and not only that but he better not be pot shotting if he's there size, let him tell it. Again, what makes me mad the most is that what he's saying isnt even true. He actually talks like the people who hate him. They all say that he's a real WW and is scared to fight them and he's picking on little guys or in other fights he's fighting bums. Its not true but he comes out and basically says exactly what they say. What is he thinking? Ive always said that I love his skills and I think he's the smartest fighter in the game but he's not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer
Unfortunately I don't think Floyd will ever fight a Cotto or a Mosley, which is a shame, cos don't get me wrong Pac and JMM are amazing fighters but they are not 147 pounders. Floyd vs Cotto is a fight I have wanted to see more than any other for the past 2 years now but it'll never happen.Comment

It's all an act with Floyd. He knows precisely what to say and when to say it in order to increase the $$$. He's no idiot. He's a hype machine. And a bloody good one at that. Take the Hatton fight for example. In the run-up he turned himself into the biggest bad guy on the planet. God knows how much extra PPV he generated in Britain being the fighter everyone loved to hate. But look at him immediately after the fight. He was humble, magnanimous and sportsmanlike - he even managed to win over the huge Hatton crowd by recognising and congratulating them. Christ - they were chanting his NAME in the press conference!
Floyd's no dummy. He doesn't give a **** about the lunatic rantings of NSB keyboard warriors (or any other). Why should he?Comment

I totally disagree. Everything you said is 100% true but guess what? He can do both. He can do everything you said and still not say those dumb things that hurt himself with his legacy. He can rip JMM & Pac. I want him to and I love it but dont say stuff like theyre too small because the haterz will eat it up and it will hate his legacy. Again, its not just us. Its writers also saying things. Theyre the main one's and its sad to say but theyre basically the people who set your legacyIt's all an act with Floyd. I'm not saying he hasn't made mistakes. Of course he has. But he DOES sell himself well. Even non-boxing fans love to buy PPV just to see him get put on his ass. As for the boxing writers (established ones, not the Johnny-cum-latelys who buy a domain name and CMS and announce to the world that they are the greatest writers on the planet without ever showing the faintest sign of intelligence or perception) - pretty much all of them are capable of separating perceptions of the fighter and the fighter himself. Something many people in here are incapable of doing.I totally disagree. Everything you said is 100% true but guess what? He can do both. Well i dont think floyd has any interest at all about what the public thinks, though he is aware it causes some excitement.
He doesnt mold himself into the model boxer aka ray leonard or delahoya.
He just wants you to hate him,
and he's convincing himself that this guy is so easy, he's actually psyching himself.
Right?
Didnt ali say things like .. ''you hit like a sissy'' i dont think reporters said.. well why are you fighting one..
I think its purely to motivate himself, to feed his ego to make him believe. Its cold, dumb blind, unthoughtful, but this attitude has benefits at the peak of an art. In my video i'm trying to portray this and other elements of arrogance to a certain extent.
