The Rocky movie was a long time ago, what he showed against Dawson is that he's done. Tarver is one stubborn f***. He must be loving this, it's a win/win situation for him.

I personally thin he is past it too, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that this is a last effort for him.

I've maintained all along that this is a dangerous fight for Chad (unless Tarver's totally shot). Tarver still packs deadly KO power and, unlike many others, I believe his performance against Dawson the first time was a tad underrated. He was a little outclassed but I hadn't seen him produce such a high workrate since he fought Glen Johnson. If Dawson allows him to get off - and has his usual one or two lapses in concentration that he's prone to - this could get very interesting. You never want to fight a deceptive, hard-hitting lefty twice if you don't have to.
