Everyone wants the advantage. Negotiating has become part of the battle. A fighter like Floyd for example had agreed to make 144 with Marquez but Roger maywether said they want Pac at 147. The size of the ring, what type of gloves, etc. have all been negotiated favoring one fighter or the other.
