They added super middle (168) in the mid 80s, and cruiserweight also. CW used to be 190, but in the past few years, they moved it up to 200.

They added some really low weight classes in the 80s as well.

The biggest change since then has been the change in weigh-in procedures. They used to weigh in the day of the fight, a few hours before the fight.

Now it's the day before, about 28-30 hours before.
