    Ricky Hatton's Road to Redeption

I'm one who doesn't believe Ricky should hang it up. I think he has good fights in front of him that he can win. If I was Ricky, this would be my road to redemption.
    • Go back to Manchester and take a confidence builder fight
    • Take on the contenders at 140, clean house, work on improving your game
    • Try and regain a belt or 2 at 140
    • Go for one more big money fight, retire no matter what happens

I figure this Road to Redemption I have laid out should take him about 3-4 years. He'll be around 34-35. Great time to retire and get out with money and your brain still in tact.

this road to redemtion will turn into a dead end the minute he steps in with someone with decent power (TKO via accumulation) or a monstrous puncher (one punch KO)

Possibly, but is it the road he should travel?

        No chance!!

I hope he does fight on though,so we can see him brutalized and humiliated again. That will happen to because he is done.

          Dude needs to retire.

Any elite fighter will destroy him. Even the top guys at 140 now will beat him.

Mayweather and Pacquiao have laid out the blue-print on how to annihilate Ricky.

He won't improve his game, he's proved that already.

I think its a good time for him to retire. He had already stated that he planned on retiring

            Why do you hate him?

Sure he's no Floyd Mayweather, but why not accept him for what he is?

I dont hate him, but i dislike him with a passion these days. Why ? his ego has grown too big and outweighs his talent, and his fake ass image pisses me off to.

                  He's already said he's retiring.

He'll probably announce it once he's back in England.
