I think so. A world class trainer and Pavlik would be a deadly duo.

Pavlik is not an Elite fighter. He will never be an elite fighter no matter what trainer he has. He will never beat an elite fighter.

He is a good fighter though and can beat other good fighters. His style dictates that he will be able to handle himself just fine at 160 as there are no other Elite fighters from 160-168

Just good fighters in his range and he will do just fine with them.

I think telling him to double jab early on was the right thing. Double jabbing messes up the timing of the opponent who is trying to counter, in this case Bhop. He kept telling him to double jab because he never really started to, so he kept telling him to at least do that to see what happens. But I dont think Kelly was able to do things he wanted to that night.

I am pretty sure Jack Loew has forgotten more about boxing than anyone in this thread has ever learned.

                      Why?

So Steward can teach him to double his jab and throw the right behind it?

Cause that's his forte as a trainer.
