The wins over unpoised Ricky Hatton and the underachieving De La Hoya doesn't give him the right for the following:

Manny Pacquiao's conquest ended when his greed began by refusing to fight Juan Manuel Marquez after their highly contested and controversial bout. He moved on instead as an underdog? and fought a dehydrated De La Hoya, whos best opponent he defeated in well over 5 years, was Ricardo Mayorga. What we learned in the fight with Hatton is that Pacquaio has power and that a leopard cannot change his spots. Looking at the fight it is clear that Hatton simply didn't respect nor believe in his power. Hatton was much more competitive against Mayweather because of the threat recognition of the bigger Mayweather. There was a chance because Hatton hired Floyd Sr. and looked good when he outboxed the boxer in Malignaggi right? No, the fact was that his feather punching opponent could not hit hard enough to bring out the leopard. Which made that an inadequate measure of his improvements. Once Hatton's cage was rattled, he simply lost his head. He didn't want to believe it so he set out on a mission to prove that disregarding his defense, becoming the leopard that he is. You may ask, why did Mayweather go 12 with a guy that Pacqaio tko'd? Its cut and dry, De La Hoya could only cover up in the fight, which he has defense, but could not punch at 147. Pacquaio knows that defensive fighters give him problems and this is why is chose money over fighting J.Marquez and is not P4P#1.

JMM on the other end moves on to ko Joel Casamayor and furthermore ko Juan Diaz. I underline ko because Nate Campbell had beaten Diaz on cards on a night where he was not in the ring (e.g. P.Williams vs. C.Quintana).

P4P status should be given to fighters who dont hide behind the materialistic excuses but takes all challenges in order to defy odds and prove thier claims. For this reason Winky was #1P4P until Paul Williams punished him. This is a champion that up until that lost had only 1 legit defeat which was early in his career before winning as underdog in 2 fights some of us say 3 while on 7 year winning streak. Winky out of frustration of recieving nothing for something he had worked hard for. He further clouded the picture when he disadvantaged himself by becoming a ducker stating that he was on a "paper chase" and chosing to move to fight Hopkins at a weight that Hopkins had come more accustomed to. For that I cannot knock his P4P status.

With that being said here is the P4P based on truth not $:

1.Paul Williams- hasn't ducked anyone. He was the first to beat Margarito when he was considered a threat. And now people say he doesn't have a big name on his resume'. Aren't all the names he needs hiding behind the money? Has the ability to legitimately face all from 147-160lbs.

2.Juan Manuel Marquez- besides aforementioned, he also doesn't own a duck. A win over Mayweather puts him above Paul.

3.Chad Dawson-he is also a member of the duckless, but also a victim to weak division. But also truely the reason Calzaghe is retired.

4.Vic Darchinyan- after only lost by ko to Donaire, he has made adjustments and become a complete terror for any style he has faced since. Also happens to be calling for Manny Pacqauio. NO DUCKS! PLUS HAS ILL INTENTIONS EVERY TIME STEPS IN RING.

5.Winky Wright- Its hard to throw him too far down on the list after only really being beaten by the guy who's #1. He is tough to beat for everybody in 154-160 except..plus he ducked at a time when he was on top not en route to.

      6. Shane Mosley- I don't see a loss since his second bout with Wright. Cotto was a beaten fighter, when the fight that close its about what man has imposed thier will. We saw Cotto fighting backwards for the first time. Needless to say he goes to ko the man who ko'd Cotto. But doesn't want Paul.

7.Bernard Hopkins- He was up there but due to him ducking Wright at 160 but fighting him a year later at 170lbs. He doesnt go beyond Wright on this list. Has done this for all of his so called career defining wins.

8.Floyd Mayweather- The most talented but least tested. He has hand picked particular champions in the weight classes he has traveled through. He doesn't want Winky, Margarito, or Cotto but calls for Mosley but now after things have blown over wants no part of Shane Mosley but rather wants to disadvange JMM and use his P4P ranking as a claim for him to be top dog.

9.Manny Pacquaio- He continues to surprise us all with his power, but has yet to show an ability to win against defensive fighter. The first fight with JMM when despite being down 3 times in the first round he was able to fight to a draw.

10.Miguel Cotto- The next Shane Mosley in terms of going on a streak. He is tough as nails and indeed will continue where he left off with Mosley. So what he lost to the plaster master.

barely missed- Andre Berto- Limited competition but speed, agility, moderate power. If Mayweather is the 93 in fuel he is the 89.

most honorable mention-Roy Jones Jr. was the last to be recognized as such without controversy. He began to lose because he kept on trying to do the unthinkable. And that is how you earn your claim to being great. Needs to retire, everyone with this attitude ends up showing the signs. Ali, Holyfield, so in this sense Tyson was smarter than the rest.

Joe Calzaghe doesn't go, only has a win against Lacy as reason. Roy is now a shell of himself, come to think of it its funny he was knocked down by this guy. Did he interpret his gift against Hopkins as a sign to retire. Lets see I guess there is reason why all of his options had he stayed are listed ontop of him on this list. He can't beat any of them.

It is really hard to fight the truth without it, so lets stay logic with our responses. There is a reason Teddy Atlas knew Mike Tyson would do what he did to Holyfield.

Your Ranking 1.Paul Williams- Although he has not ducked anyone he hasn't fought anyone worth mentioning either. his win against Margarito while it was good was overshadowed by Shane's devastating KO of the man. the fact he bat an over the hill washed up Winky Wright coming off a 2 year layoff and winless in the last two years has no effect on his P4P status. I agree P Will has the tools to be high on this list but has to pick a division and fight in it I say 154-160 is where he can make his bones and clean house but what do i know i am sitting behind a computer all day long and haven’t stepped in the ring since 2002. My ranking: unranked

Your Ranking 9. Manny Pacquaio- We have heard he is too small he can't win. But this fighter has the ultimate combination of Speed Power Footwork and Heart. He is a true P4P Champion. he is skilled can **** and trys to WOW us every time he steps in the ring. P4P The Most Exciting Fighter Today. My Rank # 1

Your Ranking 2.Juan Manuel Marquez- besides aforementioned, he also doesn't own a duck. A win over Mayweather puts him above Paul. While I see this as a good slot for JMM I see a win over Money Man Mayweather putting him in a fight for supreme right to P4P with PACMAN. The third bout in their trilogy could prove to be the best at 140 lbs. PACMAN has proved to carry his power up to 147 lbs and JMM owns a KO win over a very good young warrior in Diaz in my book that is the true battle of P4P Champion barring he gets past Money Man May My Rank #2

Your Ranking 8. Floyd Mayweather- While I agree he has not been tested to the point most of us fans would like to see him tested I still think his skills in the ring make certain things look so easy that we take him for granted. I see him and his accomplishments at 130-135 as a reason to rank him here alone. the fact he has been chasing the bigger bucks the last few years of his career have prevented us from seeing him in there with fighters many of us would have considered true threats but the fact this man is very dangerous to anyone who opposes him cannot be ignored and even though he has been off for about 18 months he gets an automatic rank from me. My Ranking # 3

Your Ranking 7. Bernard Hopkins- After watching him destroy Pavlik and never really seeing him get beat up in any of his losses that some may make the case he in fact one and it is hard for me to discredit them with ease this man get no drop in rank in my mind. He to me is one of the most avoided fighters in boxing history. his style is murder for almost anyone not including a prime Roy Jones. he can punch defend his foot work even at 44 is timely and he in my mind is one of the best counter punchers in the business. Bar none B Hop is one of the ATG. My Rank # 4

Your Ranking 6. Shane Mosley- While I agree with you about the loss to Cotto I will say this in a close fight like that you never want to leave it in the hands of the judges. Shane tried but he couldn't close the show. The judges saw it as a SD and Cotto get s the win. His devastating KO of Margarito was one for the ages. he looked rejuvenated and he has become a very dangerous opponent for anyone in the game at 147. Shane is one of my all time favorite fighters he tries to give us a KO and his 75% KO ratio speaks for itself. My Ranking # 5

Your Ranking 10.Miguel Cotto- The man is a great fighter with tons of heart. I don't want to hear all the quit stuff it can be logical to take a knee in fights. People were screaming why didn't Taylor take a knee against Froch but the same people are screaming that Miguel quit against Margarito. i saw that fight and Margarito was unbelievable that night. Plaster or no plaster the man took some tremendous shots from Miguel. Miguel gets the nod from me. I think he will be a force to deal with at 147 and may give PACMAN all he can handle if Arum makes that fight. My Ranking # 7

Your Ranking Unranked Israel Vazquez while he has been inactive you cannot ignore his talent and previous victories cannot be ignored and until he announces his official retirement he is on my list. My Ranking #8

Your Ranking Unranked Rafael Marquez while ha has been inactive and he lost his last two battle with Vazquez he still makes my list. He is a great fighter not as skilled as his brother but the family DNA is definitely in his blood. He has a fight scheduled for 5/23 against Jose Francisco Mendoza. A first in about 15 months after this tune up he'll be ready for another big fight. My Ranking # 9

Your Ranking Unranked Nonito Donaire his win over Vic looms large in Vics mind but the fact the rematch hasn't happened is a matter of opinion why not? this little fighter has all the tools and is a terrific counter puncher with a hell of a left hook. I would like to see him in there with some better competition and he may have to move up to get those matches but he definitely has the skill set to be on my list. My Rank # 10

You speak of Berto as being right there but who has he fought beside Steve Forbes and Luis Collazo? Both of those guys able to hang in there with him and Collazo making a case for him winning the fight. Honestly Berto is good but any of the guys on my list in his weight class would make quick work of him. If Floyd is the 93 Octane Berto is like Diesel fuel heavy and weighted in comparison. I like Berto and think he could be very good but he still needs some ring experience and wins over some bigger names before he even get an honorable mention from me. ....Lefty

Mosley is a big welterweight,I understand why Manny Pacquiao a former flyweight fighter doesn't want to fight him,he's looking for the biggest payday,he wants to fight Mayweather,Mayweather is a better opponent than JMM and Mosley,so in your face ***!!

Also, with your moron logic, you could also say pac not feared by Hopkins or Klitschko, he's bad,he doesn't want to fight anybody.

lucky left your 3,4,and 5 runs from my #1.

pac was supposidly to small against a dehydrated fighter who could only cover up, and although he did surprise us with hatton ko, wasnt he favored. his last meaningful fight was with the person he runs from.

the reason why u say paul isn't #1 is the reason why i write you buying into this payday as being a reason to duck.
