Floyd's defense wont work against Pac.

JMM didn't get overwhelmed because he threw 100 punches per round. Floyd throws like half that. Besides that fight happened a few years back, Pacquiao has improved even if you don't believe it.

You are probably counting Marquez out, but JMM just wiped out LW's best, he's not some clown who just gave Pacquiao problems, he's the p4p no.2 in the world. Don't be suprised if Marquez actually beats Mayweather, he knows if he loses he might not get his trilogy with Pacquiao.

For the record, JMM nearly did get overwhelmed, but he is a warrior and fought back ferociously. One clean counter isn't going to hold off a guy like Pacquiao, it's almost as if you haven't seen the guy fight.

Morales and Marquez couldn't hold him off with one counter, they had to throw 6 punch combinations for 12 rounds to keep him at bay, and he wasn't even that technical back then.

Pac won't throw nearly that many punches once he's countered flush by Mayweather. You haven't even seen pac take a clean punch at 140. It's a whole new ballgame once you get hit, no? W/e yo want to belive buddy, but I think pac nut huggers will be in a big suprise when the king beats that ass and embarrasses him.

People so so so underrate Floyd's activity. Are you guys blind? Its so easy to see. His activity is only low when he's outweighed by 15 pounds. If he fights a guy his own weight then he always is much more offensive then you guys give him credit for. He wont run from Pac at all. Infact, I think he will be walking Pac down in this fight with the high guard like the other guy said. There are 2 ways he could fight Pac. He could come at him super fast like he did to Corley or he could slowley, cautiously walk him down like he did to Zab. I think he will do the latter because Floyd is always going to play to win and he knows that he may get caught like he did against Chop and it could be over. I think he will slowly walk Pac down and after 3 or 4 rounds, Pac wont ever come close to winning another round. I think Floyd will carve him up like a turkey. As good as JMM is, Floyd is still a much better fundemental fighter both Offensivley & defensivley.

The fact is that in every single sport defense wins championships and Pac has been killing guys but none of them have a good D, not even JMM. Everything totally changes when a guy runs up against a complete fighter. It will be much harder for Pac then it was in his other fights and thats not even counting Floyds awesome countering skills. The shoulder roll wont work unless they go in the pocket which I think they will do some but other then that I think he uses the Winky guard like he did against Zab after the 4th round and he will dominate him. I could see Pac jumping on Floyd early but after about 4 rounds the fight will be over and it will be comical and shocking how Floyd totally outclasses him and makes him look like a ameture

Floyd's defense is his primary weapon, he plays the game of hitting and not getting hit and can get away with potshoting and a low workrate because he rarely gets hit.

However this won't be the case against Pacquiao. Floyd's shoulder roll defense doesn't work against southpaws and he has been able to get away with it until now because he has yet to fight an elite southpaw.

The question is what will Floyd do when Pac begins tagging him like Zab did, Pac wont lose his focus in 4 rounds..he will win the fight.
