It can't be proven either way.
But some ******s think if they argue more they will be right some how.Comment

All I can say is that (most) boxing fans will still think he cheated regardless if he wins the legal battle. If he wins the legal battle and exposes the CSAC as a fraud then what? It proves nothing to me. It doesn't show he fought fairly, just that the government organization that ruled against him is corrupt, which I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt is true.Comment

Thats like saying, if you prove a cop framed a guy, that the guy is still somehow guilty.
He's not...he was singled out and set up.
And how do we know he's not a cheater??? Cuz' he's been fighting for 15 + years and nobodies ever accused him of it thats why.
Is Margarito some sort of master jedi master that can bypass all of these commissions and hide bricks in his hands??? lol. No he's not. He's always been a clean fighter.
Its only a matter of time that the truth becomes public and he is vindicated.Comment

It shows everything. It proves that theyre corrupt and their suspension is illegitimate by extension.

With your cop analogy, how often do cops deal drugs in a sting operation? All the time, but they don't get arrested for dealing drugs. It's a clear cut double standard. If Margarito was set up by the CSAC why would the State of California ever admit that? They wouldn't. That's the very nature of politics.
And what happens if (when) Margarito loses his lawsuit? Is he then automatically guilty? Of course not, which it was ****** of him to not try to clear his name on his own instead of sitting on the sidelines. Your belief that he is somehow vindicated by winning this case (which I think he has about a 1:1000 chance of winning) I think is wrongheaded.Comment

You are putting too much faith in a government ruling against itself and calling it's own organization corrupt.

Antonio Margarito would have been much better off telling the California commission to screw off, show the fans and other fighters exactly what happened and where the misunderstanding occurred or where he was set-up, and try to get more fights in another state. He should answer every question and set up interviews with press.Comment
