have you gotten hit with dried up gauze? i worked in a pharmacy last summer. gauze is cotton + plaster elements and when wet and dried, it's as hard as plaster.

if you don't want to believe what i say, go to your local pharmacy and put first aid/maskin tape on top of a gauze just like you would do if injured. add to that water and let it dry

No way man. I really believe this. The CSAC is not to be trusted. Keep in mind this is the same organization that wants to get rid of amateur boxing in CA, and allowed a chick fight on a Strikeforce card to go on even though one of the girls missed weight by almost ten pounds.
Not only that but they missed the pads in Tony's gloves to begin with. The cheater Richardson had to meddle to help them do their job.

I have no doubt in my mind that any government managed boxing organization is corrupt to it's core. That being said:

1. I think incompetence would describe exactly why he was not caught to begin with. I'm sure most of the people on the CSAC are paid over $100k (from the California taxpayers) a year to just sit on a board, go to a few meetings, and drink coffee all day. They couldn't care less about boxing, safety or the integrity of sports. Their ruling had no effect on whether or not I thought Margarito was cheating. Since they are incompetent/political if they would have ruled that Margarito wasn't cheating would you have thought that was proof he was NOT cheating?

2. Since the ruling was handed down has Margarito or his trainer denied that they cheated? (I honestly don't know, I haven't followed it that close)

3. Where is Margarito, his trainer, and his promoter spending multiple thousands of dollars in news conferences, media appearances, interviews, internet marketing to attempt to clear his name and reputation? I'm sure he has a few million to spend if he didn't actually do it for his own name. I'm not seeing it. If I was in his shoes and knew for sure I wasn't doing anything wrong I'd be doing all I could to clear my name so I could fight again and I wouldn't have an asterisk next to my name forever.

Here is the proof that the CSAC and DOJ are not only incompetent, but also corrupt.
In their report they said they found "trace elements" i.e sulfur and calcium which they claim when combined with oxygen makes plaster of paris.

Now riddle me this...

Did they carry the wraps in an oxygen proof container from the time they ripped em off his hands?
Because unless they put his wraps in an oxygen proof bubble, wouldn't have they been exposed to oxygen from the beginning and thus...wait for it...FORMED PLASTER. And not just weak ass "trace elements"

This was a political witchhunt by the CSAC from the beginning. Karen Chapelle wanted a lifetime ban before even doing any tests...wtf??
More than 10 people including the shady Nazeem Richardson touched the wraps after they were confiscated.
Once the CSAC staked their collective reputation on his guilt by suspending him of course they were going to have their cronies at DOJ produce the "right" results...as weak as they were.

There was something on those wraps, they had been used before, they had blood on them. The only person who is fighting this is Margarito who claims he knew nothing about what Capetillo was putting on his hands.

Capetillo would not have gone out like that had it just been some hand cream.

It was a pad to protect the knuckles, people from newspapers that have felt the pads have said they expected it to be a lot harder than they actually were.

plaster is the most often used cheating item in boxing. however, ANY hard pad inserted to the wraps of a boxer is as illegal and punishable as inserted plaster. hardened gauze is as hard as plaster anyway, do the experiment that i suggested and i'm sure you'll agree with me
