Obviously, this is a very brutal sport and as much as we love it, it comes with a lot of bad things. Life long injuries that make you paralyzed/ disabled and deaths in boxing are the ugliest part of this beautiful sport.
Muhammad Ali has to live with Parkinson's disease and it will only get worse for him. Greg Page suffered for years before he left. And there are so many other boxers....
On May 2, I thought Ricky Hatton was honestly dead or suffered at least a brain injury... hopefully he is ok.
What can be done to prevent these deaths and injuries? There are already some laws out there to protect boxers, but still the recent case of Benjamin Flores made me hate, really hate boxing...
