I am starting to think Floyd was really scared of Margarito

He decided to retire right before Margarito manhandled Miguel Cotto. Then he goes into oblivion. Margarito's career then takes a turn for the worse and is now pretty much over. A few months later Mayweather announces his return. Hmm..... big coincidence? People say Mayweather-Marquez is happening becuase Marquez called him out and its his fault if he gets a beating. Margarito did the same and Mayweather turned down a career high 8 million dollar pay day.

Paul Williams ruined Margarito's invisibility...and Cotto was winning until the plaster got hard, I mean until he started gettin caught...

You can say that a guy is afraid of someone all you want but why retire because of it? Its not like he's forced to fight Margarito. If he was afraid then he couldve just not have fought him. You could counter by saying then the media & fans would rip him but what have they done for the past 10 years? Handle him with kids gloves? Yeah right. They rip him no matter what he does

Wasnt Margarito the mandatory challenger for Floyd's belt before he retired??

Didnt the Margarito-Cotto negotiations only start the february after floyd retired?

I don't recall that...Margarito lost to Paul Williams then he fought Golden Johnson, and then he got the IBF belt back after beating Kermit...

Any one who has followed the sport will tell you this is very true and most likely the case.
After the baldomir fight, Floyd had a nervous break down and began to cry at the post press conference. He was crying because of Antonio Margarito. There is a video where it even sounds like he says Antonio but he is actually saying I told you'all
But yes PBF was afraid of Tony like Sugar Ray Leonard was afraid of Roberto Duran. Only difference is Sugar Ray Leonard had the BALLS to face his fears. Floyd ran like a biatch into hidding.
