trust me Froch will have a good chance against B hop just remember how everybody thought hed get beat up by JT prefight, so when people say JT outboxed Froch thats bs, JT was no more than 2 rounds up going into the 12th, ( see all the press scorecards) and concidering that was his first defence being abroad , all his nerves etc he didnt do too bad going into the 12 but at the back his mind he was always going to go for a big last round he even said that he could have went for it earlier but he was worried about his first ever knockdown and lack of experience at this level, ofcourse JT beat Bhop twise and still boxed well in the froch fight, Kelly pavlik just wasnt himself against Bhop but if its at 168 froch will be stronger,
anyway the legend is gnna be 45 and still on the p4p list but his end will come soon and I reckon froch will do it

Were the Mercado KD's legitimate El Dominicano?
One of them was a knockdown from being off balance, and the other was a flash knockdown. other than that he has never been shook up.

Another good question is: has bernard hopkins ever been cut? The answer is no.
Out of gas? He went down in rounds 4 and 7...

I've heard one of the knockdowns in the Mercado fight was a delayed reaction knockdown, which means that the fighter is hurt pretty much 100% of the time.

That could have been due to the high altitude, and Hopkins arrived there one day before the fight, and didn't give himself time to get used to it. So why couldn't Mercado form any type of offense in the rematch?

like de la hoya said a long time ago..b-hop is a doctor of the boxing game..hes got a good defence and good foot work..people got trouble catching him..when i look at the pictures when he fought calzaghe ...calzaghes face more busted up when the match ended..b hop had nothing.

B-Hop was hit by Antwon Echols on a break that seemed to stun him for a second. And I believe he once said that Echols hit him harder than he's ever been hit before. I haven't seen the fight with Mercado. I'll be sure to download it.
