its not about beating mab , its just how much improvement hes shown of his defence already, ok barrera might not have been a real test for his defence with the cut etc but khan was in and out and his hands were up all the time unlike previous fights, the point is he has made progress under Roach and if he continues then hell go far the guy is lightning and hatton cant handle speed, anyway he has to be a world champion before any hatton talk can start so well see how he does next

for me it doesn't have anything to do with mab ... it's just that roach has hatton figured out.

Imo Amir Khan beat Ricky, but Ricky Khant beat Amir.

I don't know tbh . I said in an earlier thread that Hatton should avoid boxers with fast hand speed but on second thought's look what he done to Malignaggi . The big question for me iis does Khan have the power to hurt Hatton because MAB said Khan's punches weren't hurting him .I don't know if Hatton's shot or not tbh . . I think the ref might be a big factor in this fight as well , if it were to happen , if Hatton gets in to hold or not .

Yeah but Ricky can't take speed or a punch anymore, I swear Khan can do it, and after he beats kotelnik this fight has to be made, Ricky's last chance saloon and the chance for Khan to continue his legend killing streak
you still pissed bout your £50???

shake you head and think bout it, hatton been destroyed by the two of the best boxers of this generation, thats true..but...he is still miles above getting beat off amir khan. atleast hatton has beat everyone on the way up, khan got blown away by someone put there for him to beat.

i was at the khan/barrera fight and it was laughable, berrera was so shot it was annoying. he was put there to take a paycheck, get beat, and put a name on amir's record.

Nah i dont care about my 50, i dont even like khan that much but this fight is for the good of british boxing. Amir's best days should be ahead of him, hattons are in the rear view mirror

figured out for a southpaw, amir is orthodox. yes yes hatton ****s his arm for a left hook which id perfect for a manny right, but, it doesn't work for an orthodox.

manny's greatness is that a) he's a super elite boxer and b) he's southpaw, hard enough if he were orthodox but it make it some much harder the fact he's a lefty

i agree khan now goes up there with the few others that carry the mantle of british boxing but beating hatton up (taking the hypothetical approach that he wins) will just turn people against him, hattton's fan base is to strong. its the wrong way to do things, there's better people to make his OWN name for himeself out there
