He had not said a single word?

    What about, "Hattons a *****, Oscars a *****"?

I'm not going to deny that PBF comes across as an a$$hole a lot of the time, but I don't believe for a second that you all would like him better if he didn't act that way. Because if that were true you'd all be Andre Ward fans. There are very few people on here who give two ****s when Andre Ward fights and he fights way more often than Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Mayweather hasn't fought in over a year and this board has ALWAYS been filled with Mayweather threads. I'm a fan of his, but I get tired of it. We get it...most of you don't like him. But I don't see you all propping up young fighters who're consciously trying to set a positive example. How about starting threads about positive role model fighters instead of ALWAYS starting the same lame threads.
I karma'd you for it at the time, and this was a great thread.

      Bumped for truth.

Luckily, we had fighters like Morales, Barrera, Castillo, Kostya Tszyu and now Pacquiao...even the C level fighter like Gatti to keep us interested.

Attitude sucks. He's not that exciting to watch. To best compare his skills to a more exciting and popular and likeable fighter - Sugar Ray Leonard. He took it to his opponent everytime. He could have played it safe but he chose not to. He took risks. To top it off, he was a nice guy out of the ring: Humble and respectable.
You've posted this screed a million times already.

        Everybody knows how you feel.

It's not the point of the thread.

I think his character is a poor man's muhammed ali. I don't think he pulls it off that well. Its not like I don't like the "bad guy" fighters, I LOVE Mayorga! I do NOT dislike Floyd for his attitude. I don't really care that HE claims to be the greatest of all time. I just laugh it off the way I would laugh it off if Mayorga said that. The real attitude problem is with his fans who are in denial about Floyd ducking the best WW's.

No it it isn't. Thread's about hypocrisy. And it was intended more to wake people up to Andre Ward than kick off yet another tedious debate over Mayweather Jr.'s personality.

Why the hell would you give that much of a **** about a pantomime attitude? You really invest in fighters' personalities that much?

Problem is you have only supposed evidence of him ducking ONE welterweight. Cotto. Nothing for Margarito or Mosley. And u got other fools who claim he ducked Kosta, Vivian Harris, Casamayor, and others which is bull****.

All of these alleged duck scenarios involving Mayweather are far more complicated than they're made out. The only people selling them as "ducks" are people with an invested interest in ragging on a fighter they don't like for reasons not entirely related to boxing itself.

                Attitude is a nothing concern.

But, have it your way - Floyd Cherrypicker ducked 'em all blah blah blah.

It's still not what the thread is about. You've just dragged it down that alley, as is your obsessional wont.

He could have legitimately fought Margarito, WIlliams, or maybe even Mosley instead of Cotto. I agree that he probably did not duck those guys although there were some fights the he could have made to really clean out the lower divisions. His record below 140 is very good and I dont think he ducked anyone but it is not THAT good.

I would like Floyd alot more if he didn't talk so much **** all the time. Look at Mosley,Cotto, and Pacquaio they are all nice guys and great fighters and they are huge in the boxing community and I am a big fan of all of them.

The "Thug" image really doesn't sit too well with boxing fans I've noticed. JAT
