Question for those of you who hate Lil' Floyd's personality

For a year and a half, this board was full of mayweather speculation. Although he had not said a single word. Why is that?

How many of you are following Andre Ward's career? Ward couldn't possibly be more humble and polite. He's hella talented...he might be the next P4P king if he can get the right fights. Basically, he's everything a lot of people claim to want Mayweather to be. But I truly believe that's the reason why he flies under the radar.

I'm not going to deny that PBF comes across as an a$$hole a lot of the time, but I don't believe for a second that you all would like him better if he didn't act that way. Because if that were true you'd all be Andre Ward fans. There are very few people on here who give two ****s when Andre Ward fights and he fights way more often than Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Mayweather hasn't fought in over a year and this board has ALWAYS been filled with Mayweather threads. I'm a fan of his, but I get tired of it. We get it...most of you don't like him. But I don't see you all propping up young fighters who're consciously trying to set a positive example. How about starting threads about positive role model fighters instead of ALWAYS starting the same lame threads.

Mayweather might be the most talented, but he's the least exciting. With all that quickness in both offense and the way he reacts to punches, he could at least make his fights more exciting. Then his attitude turns off a lot of people outside of the ring. If he's all that, he should be able to give people the thrill boxing used to have. Luckily, we had fighters like Morales, Barrera, Castillo, Kostya Tszyu and now Pacquiao...even the C level fighter like Gatti to keep us interested.

Attitude sucks. He's not that exciting to watch. To best compare his skills to a more exciting and popular and likeable fighter - Sugar Ray Leonard. He took it to his opponent everytime. He could have played it safe but he chose not to. He took risks. To top it off, he was a nice guy out of the ring: Humble and respectable.

No it it isn't. Thread's about hypocrisy. And it was intended more to wake people up to Andre Ward than kick off yet another tedious debate over Mayweather Jr.'s personality.

Problem is you have only supposed evidence of him ducking ONE welterweight. Cotto. Nothing for Margarito or Mosley. And u got other fools who claim he ducked Kosta, Vivian Harris, Casamayor, and others which is bull****.

As I explained earlier, attitude does carry over. Mayweather's ducking of Cotto and Margarito is often talked about. He's nonchalant over Cotto's and Margarito's wins yet he chose to fight Hatton and then retire in tears. If he's the best, he has a lot more convincing to do.

All of these alleged duck scenarios involving Mayweather are far more complicated than they're made out. The only people selling them as "ducks" are people with an invested interest in ragging on a fighter they don't like for reasons not entirely related to boxing itself.

Attitude is a nothing concern.

He could have legitimately fought Margarito, WIlliams, or maybe even Mosley instead of Cotto. I agree that he probably did not duck those guys although there were some fights the he could have made to really clean out the lower divisions. His record below 140 is very good and I dont think he ducked anyone but it is not THAT good.

I would like Floyd alot more if he didn't talk so much **** all the time. Look at Mosley,Cotto, and Pacquaio they are all nice guys and great fighters and they are huge in the boxing community and I am a big fan of all of them.
