So JMM is an old man now , he is p4p no 2 and just knocked out Diaz and Cassa , you guys come out with so much crap JMM is in the best form of his life and will give a great showing , Mannys sloppy seconds your an idiot mate .He will get past him but it will be a very piss poor performance from PBF. And a very controversial decision. Floyd is already slipping and it will show against Marquez. Floyd will retire after Marquez because he will be too emberassed to return after nearly getting owned by an old man in Marquez and who is Manny's sloppy seconds X 2.Comment

Are you thinking of Sugar Ray Leonard when he returned to the sport the first time?He will get past him but it will be a very piss poor performance from PBF. And a very controversial decision. Floyd is already slipping and it will show against Marquez. Floyd will retire after Marquez because he will be too emberassed to return after nearly getting owned by an old man in Marquez and who is Manny's sloppy seconds X 2.
Kevin Howard fight....
For Leonard It Was Down, And Then Out
Though Sugar Ray got up and won his comeback, he called it quits
I too thought Floyd was slipping. Even if people don't think so Physically, Mentally he was declined which is why he retired.
However, if Floyd is "Great" like he says, why not prove it by fighting if while you are not at your absolute best?
Yes, it is his choice but since he is back he can prove how good he is by beating Top fighters that are in their prime while he is on the slide.
He talked about Ali having losses, but Ali only lost when he lost some of his ability. Floyd will understand what it is like when he goes in there with declining attributes and we'll see how well he adapts. His technique is great but without being physically 100%, he is going to have to step up his Mental game that much more....like Ali.
Fighters on the decline are more likely to quit as well, specifically against heavy pressure fighters that won't let up. That crossed my mind too.
We'll see though with the JMM bout where he is at...at least somewhat.
I respected Roy Jones Jr. before the move up to HW...but when he came down and gutted out that win against Tarver, that was impressive knowing how he ruined his body. Of course, he would never recover, but......
I've always said fighters can retire when they want but there is something about a "great" fighter that is on the decline pulling out a victory against a prime fighter...especially one that is more athletic than you at that point.Comment

Keep attacking but that version of Floyd would stay calm like he did and keep his guard up until he had enough sense to counter attack...which he did against Corley. Actually, the most exciting times with Floyd was when he was being attacked. He also looked like he was having fun back then. That to me was Floyd at his best...from 130-140.
I like how he briefly turned south-paw against Corley
The combo he put Corley down was impressive as well. I'm not sure I've seen that same Floyd.

JMM will be 36 years old when he faces PBF.
36 years old is hardly a spring chicken in this sport.
Yes, JMM is Manny's sloppy seconds X 2
:fight:
Floyd is going to get emberrassed none the less.
