Excuse me, sir, where does it say Calzaghe had signed a deal? Nobody has ever said that on here, as far as I'm aware. The "deal" got right up to the last stage, though.

This is simple:

* Calzaghe was a big risk for not much reward back in 2002.
* Froch is an easy fight for Hopkins right now.

That's why Froch is suddenly magically in a position to fight Hopkins, because Bernard likes picking on what he thinks are one-dimensional white boys.

Froch isn't a super hero for taking a fight with Bernard (if he does take the fight). Bernard CHOSE Froch because he knows he can beat him easily.

You are unaware. I hear it all the time from noobs to the great sport of boxing. People have this beleieve that Joe Calzaghe signed with everyone, including Jones and Hopkins..... and as far as him being a BIG risk..... no he was a NOBODY that didnt bring any money to the table and didnt want to leave his back yard. But does it matter? The dudes long gone and no one really cares at all other than Froch.

Anyway "sir" I'm not stating that Froch OR Hopkins are anything. I'm saying if Froch fights Hop he will lose and lose BADLY. That is it.
