Because American fighters are generally technically better defensively. Majority of British fighters are aggressive fighters with little defence. They dont take on board the finer point of the game DEFENCE.

It might have something to do with soccer being the big big sport here and not enough people into boxing It's not a great country for boxing when you think about it . Yeah you probably can if you go back a decade or so.

I just named roughly 3/4 of the British fighters who have fought at the World Level in the past 2 years and it seems they've all been KTFO.

Chances are you're gonna find that 75% of Americans have NOT been KTFO in humiliating fashion in the past 2 years.
