Actually, Sr didnt sound too bad until the very end when he still mentioned roach as a joke coach.
He said he wanted to stay away from Hatton after the fight because he'd rather have him heal him up than talk worthless words at him. I think he was being sincere when he said that. He's not the nicest guy in the world but in own his way it wouldve benefited Hatton not talking to him after the fight, as it wouldve been just been counter productive talking nonsense after he was just knocked out.
He did say he planned on talking to Ricky later and wont berate him, he felt that wouldnt do any good.
He sounded confused of Pacquaios power. He said he's suprised that he came from 106 packing that punch, and he had no idea or clue that Mannny was capable of that. It also kinda showed how ****** or ignorant Sr is when he never heard of PAcuqaio's KO abilities. He said he didnt think Manny had more than 30 knockouts, but he has 37. Apparently he didnt study up on his opponent well enough.
A reporter asked if Ricky looked tired or gassed before the fight, Sr said Ricky looked good and didnt notice any problems. He sounded kinda humble throughout the interview.
When they mentioned his son, he still thinks Floyd is more skillfull. It is his son, so he genuinely feels that way.
There wasnt any scuffle, just the reporter, kevin lole who reported there was friction in the camp. Apparently the two were friends and Mayweather told him to get out of his face and theyre not friends anymore. From waht it looked like Sr was telling the truth about the friction, and the story was way overblown.Comment
